A wooden house in the middle of the forest. This is the special feature of this family home, similar in size to traditional bungalows. However, it is entirely clad in zinc, unifying roof and walls in a single sweep and creating a radically contemporary architectural style.

At the back, a rectangular wooden section adjoins the main body of the building, breaking the symmetry but exploiting the contrasts. Inside, without any doubt, wood reigns supreme and entirely lines the impressively large living areas which soar upwards to the peak of the roof.  This material offers a warm, enveloping ambiance, as well as providing comfortable levels of heat and acoustics. A traditionally built home, but one expressed in totally contemporary language.
