On the site of an old orchard, POLYFORM has constructed twin family homes. The design of the facades is a work of high precision demonstrating a perfectly adapted geometry. The choice of brick as the finishing touch emphasises this formal requirement. This approach of seeking out quality is also applied to the materials of the interior: natural stone, wood, marble decorate the living spaces and confer them with a certain nobility all while remaining understated and contemporary. In the same vein, the interior furnishings have been custom-made to integrate perfectly into the house.

With virtually no openings to the north, the house is sheltered from curious glances from the street, presenting a carefully designed facade of great architectural quality. On the south side, by contrast, it opens completely to the garden with a huge glass wall creating a direct link to the outside areas, firstly to the terrace and then flowing continuously on to the garden.

In the lounge, the artist VHILS worked directly on the wall to create a 5mx3m work of art displaying a section of an expressive face picked out in the concrete. The bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are on the upper floor. In the basement, a swimming-corridor runs the full length of the house ensuring a moment of relaxation and well-being for the residents within a remarkable example of interior architecture.
